      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Identify market opportunities and develop relationships with industry contacts to drive sales
      - Successfully complete onboarding and training to enhance industry knowledge in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and traffic detection
      - Attend customer meetings and trade shows to promote Wavetronix products
      - Generate repeat sales and provide timely technical, pricing, and delivery information to customers
      - Manage and expand the customer base while preparing sales budgets and forecasts for the region

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Prior direct technical sales experience, preferably in the traffic industry
      - Ability to travel extensively within the Texas Territory (70-75% travel required)
      - Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn about traffic detection technologies
      - Proven success in working collaboratively within a team setting
      - Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in the Traffic industry or related fields
      - Familiarity with Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
      - Previous experience attending trade shows and professional meetings
      - Ability to negotiate agreements within profitability guidelines
      - Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales targets
