What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Recruit, lead, coach, develop, and retain a team of sales, technical, and service personnel
- Communicate and promote the employer to establish brand and market presence in the region
- Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director to develop annual goals, budgets, marketing plans, and targets
- Engage in strategic planning, business development, and profitability initiatives for the region
- Regularly report on progress and performance metrics for the region
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science Degree preferred, with a focus in Animal Science, Dairy Science, or Agricultural Science
- Sound agricultural background and/or dairy industry experience
- Proven track record of success in a target-driven sales environment
- Strong motivation and ability to inspire a team
- Professional presence with the ability to present to various levels and audiences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a Player/Coach role within sales management
- Familiarity with the dairy and beef industries
- Ability to travel approximately 50% within the region
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
