        Primary Responsibilities

        The Sales Solutions Lead is responsible for the management and development of the Sales Solutions Specialists which requires execution of sales proposals, managing sales solutions activity completion, and tracking measurements of sales growth and points of distribution. The Sales Solutions Lead is responsible for directly managing and leading Store Solutions activities and execution of all store sets.         Essential Functions

        • Conduct store surveys prior to any new store, reset or re-merchandising as required.
        • Manage and execute on store proposals and drive new PODs
        • Responsible for innovation and implementing plan-o-grams, educational aids, and merchandising techniques
        • Responsible for managing and leading all activities of the Solutions Sales Specialists including performance and coaching, personal and professional development and performance management
        • Update and maintain the Retail Services Report/account tracking and maintain a complete store file for all store sets.
        • Education and customer engagement development with single store owners on KeHE business, items, and trends
        • Manage day-to-day completion of sales and merchandising reporting and activities
        • Responsible for performance management for direct reports; determine goals, provide coaching and development, conduct performance reviews, and create career development plans.
        • Knowledge of product/categories, and merchandising techniques.
        • Maintain safeguards of confidential company information.
        • Create a cross-functional environment with clear expectations and transparency
        • Collaborating with regional leadership to determine and prioritize projects
        • Maintain store solutions schedule for Solutions Sales team


        Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

        • Minimum 3-5 years of experience of retail or merchandising in chain grocery, independent natural, or independent conventional grocery environments
        • Outstanding communication (both verbal and written) and relationship management skills with people at all organizational levels
        • Ability to prioritize workload to have the most significant impact on customer satisfaction.
        • Proficient in using Excel, Access, Cognos, PowerPoint, and other similar tools
        • Prior experience in food industry and/or code sensitive product environment preferred
        • Demonstrated ability to effectively identify long-term issues, develop and implement strategies to address those issues, and linking shorter-term activities to these strategies
        • Demonstrated proficiency in attention to accuracy and detail
        • Demonstrates the competencies of: financial acumen, ability to collaborate, courage, sense of urgency, and effectively managing complexity
        • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends
        • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time by air and stay overnight to support the requirements of the position
        • Follow established KeHE policies and procedures to accomplish the above accountabilities.
        • Other duties and special projects as requested.
