What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Guide customers through the evaluation process to determine eligibility for the Ticket to Work program
- Balance servicing customers on inbound calls while managing a case load inventory and making outbound calls
- Assist customers in understanding the benefits of the Ticket to Work program and how to access vocational services
- Learn complex government programs and internal processes in a remote training environment
- Maintain a dedicated workspace free from distractions to enhance customer interactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience in a customer service-related field or two years of post-secondary education or higher
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while navigating multiple computer software programs
- Excellent verbal and written professional communication skills
- Must pass a federal background check, including fingerprinting
- High level of initiative and drive to succeed with independent problem-solving abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a sales or intake specialist role
- Familiarity with government assistance programs, especially related to disability services
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and relationships over the phone
- Experience with remote work environments and self-motivated learning
