What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and develop a team of sales tax return filers, fostering teamwork and collaboration
- Ensure the team meets its goals and contributes to the overall success of the department
- Manage personal production of assigned clients, overseeing all aspects of the sales tax return filing process
- Accurately file a minimum of 350 sales tax returns per month
- Handle data retrieval, funds requests, processing and filing of returns, payment processing, notice clearing, and account reconciliation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two years of recent experience filing at least 100 sales tax returns per month
- At least five years of experience in sales tax return preparation, filing, and payment
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Prior supervisory experience is a plus
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
