What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain and develop security documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs) and Security Assessment Reports (SARs)
- Collaborate with application stakeholders to define and implement security requirements for Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions
- Conduct security testing and validation prior to production deployment, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigations
- Monitor and report on security compliance status across HRIT implementations
- Engage with clients regarding system requirements and design documentation for HRIT modules
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Over six years of experience in information security, preferably in ISSO or similar roles
- Proven experience supporting federal government projects and managing Federal security documentation
- Active Public Trust clearance
- Deep understanding of information security principles and federal compliance frameworks relevant to HCM systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as PeopleSoft, Workday, and JIRA
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite tools for documentation and analysis
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Working knowledge of Section 508 Compliance standards
- Current privileged user certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CAP, CISSP, or equivalent)
