      Overview Optimum Sports is the dedicated sports marketing agency within OMG. Unlike traditional sports marketing agencies, Optimum Sports operates in both the Sports Sponsorship and Sports Media landscapes. With the combination of both disciplines under a single offering, Optimum Sports is able to provide its clients with unique and advantageous marketplace leverage through which it delivers cohesive, multi-platform sports marketing strategies. We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic team. This position reports directly to the Associate Director and serves as one of the team’s direct line of communication between clients, agencies and partners. Qualifications Undergraduate degree required Preferably in Marketing, Business, Sports Management and/or Communications Passion for sports is a must; experience working within sports preferred 2-3 years in the media industry and experience with multiple media channel Some digital and social experience preferred Strong ability to effectively communicate ideas in both a written and verbal setting General understanding of industry knowledge, sports marketing vernacular, and trends Self-sufficient, enthusiastic, and hard working - proactively pursues assignments and knowledge Creative thinker who has the ability to develop unique ideas, solutions, and programs Highly organized, with the ability to manage and prioritize many simultaneous deliverables Experience with client service and account/project management Responsibilities The Optimum Sports Strategy team is responsible for leading development and implementation of sports-focused sponsorship and media strategies designed for clients to create customized multi-platform marketing programs. Internally throughout OMG, OS acts as the singular resource for all things sports, providing OMG strategy teams with real time marketplace insights to inform communications planning. Externally, OS manages relationships across the sports media and property marketplaces with the goal of maximizing partnership value. Partnership Planning + Assessment Assist with client audience analysis using marketplace intel and OMG tools/resources to create a cohesive sponsorship strategy with partnership opportunities for consideration, including selection of sports properties/athletes/channels for focus Proactively identify new projects and business opportunities with existing client(s) Maintain overall sports landscape analysis with focus on select media and property/athlete outlook, customizing for client category/brands as needed Conduct competitive research to keep client(s) informed of latest news, product launches, and marketing activations within their industry and the larger sports marketplace Provide overviews and trends of current broadcast rights and consumption across properties Program Development Support sports idea generation and client-facing sell through Collaborate with agency and external partners, where applicable, to develop holistic sports platform planning that tie into overall brand strategy Determine optimal asset mix and branding elements within partnership proposals while developing an activation framework Construct multi-media marketing strategies and tactics/ideas using expertise, marketplace intel, and creative thinking Implementation + Execution Design decks and word documents that convey strategy supported with appropriate research Implement, track, and value cross-channel media and partnership activations Serve as the main liaison between client, creative and external partners, as needed, in the routing and tracking of feedback and approvals across partnership tactics Manage comms across internal parties, as needed, with regards to influencer/athlete partnerships – particularly with the routing and tracking of feedback and approvals on client requests, creative tactics, etc. Construct and present impactful recaps designed to optimize future strategy and tactics General Responsibilities Organize and track internal and client-facing documents, such as activation calendars, billing, metrics, recaps, and evaluations/POV’s Assist with administrative duties, as needed, such as capturing meeting notes, managing upkeep of documents on server, tracking, etc. Compensation Range: $50,000 - $65,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
