- Lead the day-to-day management and strategy of client's sponsorship activation and partnership marketing efforts, working directly with client team
- Thorough and thoughtful analysis of business/brand, category, consumer, and cultural trends that highlights opportunities for client’s businesses and inform strategic output
- Translate information and intel into inspiring insights and actionable strategies responsible for development of briefs, narratives, and frameworks for the client
- Help manage the sponsorship measurement and return on investment process
- Provide and analyze industry trends, research, competitive analysis, and POVs
- Support the identification and sell in of new partnerships, including possible contract negotiations
- Develop sponsorship and activation materials. This will include, but not be limited to development of creative elements, client marketing presentations, securing approvals from key stake holders and distribution of materials to clients and partners
- Interface and work closely with external agencies and partners, including but not limited to creative and experiential agencies, along with client-internal social, regional and local departments
- Attend events and activations and provide on-site support as needed
- Master's Degree
- A minimum of 6 - 8 years of agency or client-based account management experience (specific disciplines could include sponsorship strategy and marketing, partnership strategy and marketing, event / experiential marketing, influencer marketing or digital marketing)
- Experience and understanding of the business of sports, sports media and sports marketing/sponsorship, with NBA interest/experience strongly preferred
- Ability to manage the development and implementation of marketing strategy on behalf of client or company
- Participation in sponsorship contract negotiations
- Ability to manage day-to-day relationships with client and agency(s)
- Experience working with internal teams (account/creative) as well as other agency partners
- Superior client relationship/service skills
- Ability to think strategically and creatively
- Ability to problem-solve independently and in groups
- Excellent time management, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to travel ~10% of the time
- Exceptional in MS Office Suite

160over90 is seeking a Senior Account Manager that will be part of a dedicated team responsible for the day-to-day servicing of a client's NBA related partnerships. The position will report to the team's Account Director and can be based in our New York or Los Angeles office.

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience.
