- The Wellness/Health Coach utilizes a collaborative process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to engage, educate, and promote members in decisions related to achieving and maintaining optimal health status.
- The goal is to help members achieve a healthy lifestyle and behaviors that align these lifestyle behaviors with individual wellness goals.
- Role includes coaching telephonically and facilitating group sessions virtually via WebEx video. Follows internal policy and procedure in compliance with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
- The coach will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of member's health status and risk with use of clinical tools and information along with data review. By assimilating health assessment data analysis, they will establish a plan of care based on member's health status, risks, education level, and support needs. Motivational interviewing skills are required to ensure maximum member engagement and promote lifestyle and behavior changes to achieve optimum level of health.
- Utilizing interviewing and active listening skills you will provide coaching and support to empower the member to make ongoing independent healthy lifestyle choices. Develops and monitors established plans of care, in collaboration with the member to meet the member's goals.
- 3+ years of coaching experience
- 3+ years of experience in wellness related areas such as weight management, tobacco cessation, stress management, nutrition, physical activity or health lifestyle behavior change
- At least 2+ years of experience facilitating health/wellness presentations both in person and virtually.
- Health Coach Certification or Fitness certification
- Prefer Master's Degree in Public Health, Exercise physiology, nutrition, or other health areas
- Background in motivational interviewing, active listening skills, Transtheoretical Model, mindfulness based and other evidence-based coaching techniques preferred.
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, problem solve, and work effectively with people, use good judgment in challenging situations.
- Bilingual candidates (All bilingual candidates must have the ability to pass oral/written language assessment).
- Bachelor's Degree in health-related field, (e.g., Health Ed., Wellness, Health Promotion) required

Position Summary:
This is a full-time telework role within the US for an experienced health coach.
Scheduled Hours: Monday-Friday
- 3 days are 8:30-5:00 PM ET
- 2 days are until 8:00/9:0 PM ET
- Rotate 1 Friday evening until 9:00 PM and one 5 hour Saturday shift, approximately every 6-8 weeks

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$43,700.00 - $90,000.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
