What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide expert Federal accounting and auditing solutions to enhance financial data accuracy and reliability
- Identify business process risks and implement internal control frameworks and procedures
- Support the production and accuracy of financial statements and footnotes
- Assist in modernizing financial management capabilities through innovative technologies
- Conduct audit support and remediation, including data reconciliation and internal control assessments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 10+ years of federal financial management experience
- 4+ years of federal accounting experience
- Must hold or be able to obtain at least one relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA, CGFM, CDFM, PMP, ITIL)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with data analytics and financial system reconciliation
- Proficiency in Advana or similar DoD analytics platforms
- Hands-on experience with Internal Control Testing methodologies
