      Focus, Scope & Impact

      • Responsible for U.S. and Canada

      • Work hand in hand with Group Director to co-create vision, strategies, pipeline and plans

      • Develop short- (1 year) and mid-term (2-3 years) business/brand plans identifying business objectives, strategies, key initiatives and performance measurements by using insights collected from situation assessment, marketplace information, etc. in order to support North America Operating Unit (NAOU) category and brand growth targets.

      • Assess attractive local (NAOU) consumer opportunities that are currently untapped by the Company by leveraging consumer research in order to identify new volume and profit growth areas (e.g., new beverage sub-categories, new packaging opportunities, new merchandise categories, new channels of distribution to sell licensed merchandise).

      • Provide direction, leadership and coaching to 1-3 Brand Assistant(s), agile team players and to members of project teams.

      • Secondary P&L management for brand NR, GP, DME to deliver NAOU brand growth and financial targets.

      • D evelop programs and secure required budget in order to execute brand plan. Where applicable, ensure appropriate implementation of global/regional direction into local execution.

      • End-to-end management of consumer opportunities for the brand, inclusive of strategic opportunity identification, consumer and market positioning, partnership on program / communication development/ innovation strategy and tracking of metrics

      Qualification s & Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing/Communications or related field required; Master’s degree is preferred .

      • 5 or more years of experience in a previous m arketing role .

      • 2 or more years of experience in a brand management role with the ability to steward brand initiatives designed to deliver business and brand objectives through the path to purchase (consumer content to in-store execution) .

      • 2 or more years managing a brand management team and the ability to demonstrate execute of strategy plan with results.

      • Knowledge of syndicated sources (e.g., AC Nielsen, IRI, CCT+, Home Scan) used in the analysis of trended consumer and volume dynamics, as well as knowledge of procedures used to drive increases in volume and brand equity (e.g., marketing programs, licensed/specialty merchandise and/or properties) are needed .

      • Must possess the ability to apply basic marketing concepts (e.g., brand positioning, brand architecture, SWOT Analysis, competitive assessment, marketing objectives/strategies, consumer segmentation) used in the development of marketing plans .
