      About this job:

      As the Senior Business Performance Reporting Analyst you are the recognized expert driving innovation in reporting and analytics at The Bank of Missouri. Your primary focus will be on empowering data-driven decision-making across the organization to enhance both the employee and customer experience. Collaborating with stakeholders, you translate complex requirements into actionable insights and champion the adoption of emerging technologies. You lead the design, development, and implementation of reporting and intelligence solutions that are accurate, efficient, and aligned with evolving business priorities.

      Core Responsibilities of a Senior Business Performance Reporting Analyst Include:

      Leadership in Stakeholder Collaboration:
      • Lead collaborative efforts with stakeholders to understand their evolving needs and transform them into actionable insights.
      • Foster partnerships with stakeholders to not only develop but also strategically align on advanced reporting requirements.

      Advanced Analytics and Problem Resolution:
      • Drive the analysis and collection of data for sophisticated business reports and analytics, demonstrating an advanced ability to interpret complex datasets.
      • Investigate and implement corrective actions for report errors, taking a leadership role in addressing and resolving complaint issues for reports and data systems.

      Continuous Improvement and Education:
      • Lead the identification of areas for improvement and guide the team on appropriate escalation procedures.
      • Take an active role in educating the organization on advanced reporting and analytical concepts, ensuring a broad understanding and adherence to best practices.

      Positive Work Environment and Technology Advocacy:
      • Cultivate a positive working environment conducive to enhancing both the Customer and Employee Experience.
      • Champion the adoption and continued evolution of advanced technologies, empower colleagues through education and mentorship on reporting concepts, best practices, and emerging technologies.

      Initiative and Prioritization:
      • Exhibit strong initiative while remaining receptive to feedback, showcasing effective prioritization skills and purposeful action.

      Strategic Participation in Data and Analytics Roadmap:
      • Play a key role in the strategic planning and execution of the bank's Data and Analytics Roadmap, contributing to its continued enhancement.

      Qualifications for Success:
      • Preferred - Master's degree in business, finance, information management, or a related field.
      • Required - Bachelor's degree in one of the fields listed above.
      • 5-7 years of experience as a Business Performance Reporting Analyst or similar role, with at least 3 years in the banking industry.
      • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, adept at delivering complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
      • Impeccable attention to detail, ensuring reports are visually clear, concise, and readily understandable for diverse audiences.
      • Proven track record of delivering impactful reporting and analytics solutions that drive strategic decision-making. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior analysts.
      • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python. Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI. Experience with cloud-based data data warehouses like Snowflake.
      • Extensive experience in the banking industry. Deep understanding of relevant regulations and financial metrics. Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
