What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify advocacy landscape opportunities across clients and therapeutic areas
- Monitor and translate therapeutic and advocacy data into actionable insights and strategies
- Develop and complete advocacy deliverables, including reports and content for meetings
- Manage client relationships and provide expert recommendations on advocacy strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to support business development and client engagement
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in communications or a health-related discipline
- Expert ability to research, analyze, and interpret data and information
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare communications, academia, or the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong understanding of health disparities and social determinants of health
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree in science/medicine, public health, health policy, or related fields
- 2+ years of advocacy/engagement experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Experience in mentorship and leadership within a team environment
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
