Develop and execute a comprehensive audience development strategy that aligns with the company's goals and vision
Lead and mentor a team of audience development professionals, fostering their growth and ensuring they are equipped to execute the audience strategy effectively
Oversee the distribution of content across various platforms, including social media, email, SEO, and emerging channels, to reach and engage target audiences
Utilize data and analytics to gain insights into audience behavior, preferences, and trends. Use this data to refine and optimize the audience development strategy
Develop and implement strategies to build and maintain strong relationships with the company's audience, encouraging loyalty and advocacy
Identify and establish partnerships and collaborations with other industry leaders, influencers, and organizations to expand our audience reach
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in audience development to ensure the company remains at the forefront of audience engagement
Manage the budget allocated for audience development initiatives, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred). Or equivalent experience.
Ten years of experience in audience development, digital marketing, or related roles
Proven experience leading and managing teams
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
Excellent knowledge of digital marketing channels and tools
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Innovative mindset with a passion for staying on the cutting edge of industry trends
Proven success in driving audience growth and brand loyalty

As the Senior Director of Audience Development, you will be responsible for shaping and executing AOL’s audience growth strategy. You will lead a team of experts in audience engagement, content distribution and analytics. Your primary goal will be to expand our audience reach, build strong relationships with our existing audience and drive brand loyalty. You will work closely with various departments, including Marketing, Content, and Product, to ensure our audience development efforts align with our overall business objectives.

The compensation for this position ranges from $159,140.00 - $346,075.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
