      Hybrid schedule: Our office teams have transitioned back to working in the office on a regular hybrid schedule. At present, team members are expected in the office an average of three (3) days a week. Decisions regarding any changes to our hybrid schedule will be communicated.

      What you will be doing:

      The Senior Director, Global Consumer Insights, is a trusted advisor and business partner to brand marketing teams. They are responsible for owning an insights team and developing global innovation related to brand foundations, consumer journeys, communication benchmarking, brand health tracking and marketing excellence training. They will manage a team of insights professionals responsible for crafting and driving primary research in conjunction with external partners, synthesizing and reporting key research findings, and making recommendations to support business strategies and decision making that drive brand growth.

      • Ensures consumers are at the heart of everything we do. Helps infuse consumer-obsessed philosophy and champion the external view across our businesses

      • Partner with brand marketing and cross-functional partners to build a learning / research plan that identifies and addresses key knowledge gaps and business opportunities

      • Ensures the research plan and budget align to key priorities across brand strategy, innovation, and communications

      • Leads the development, execution, and delivery of custom research studies (qualitative and quantitative). Specifically, this individual helps develop research objectives, design research, select research partners, analyze results, make recommendations, and present results -- on time, cost efficient and with high quality

      • Ensures insights are woven throughout brand strategy, creative development, experience activation and innovation initiatives

      • Develops a comprehensive understanding of the business environment including competitive brands and products, macroeconomic, social, and demographic factors, and trends

      • Leads tracking of brand health and performance

      • Connects the dots across multiple sources of data and information to generate insight and make meaningful recommendations that drive competitive advantage and growth

      • Collaborates with analytics team on measurement findings and indicated actions

      Skills needed to be successful in this role:

      • Strong passion and emotional intelligence for consumers

      • Strategic and analytical thinking

      • Bias for action, driving strategic outcomes through influence, collaboration & organizational savviness

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's Degree

      • 12+ years of professional experience with relevant consumer insight background

      • Experience with multiple types of custom research, including positioning, brand architecture, creative / messaging development and evaluation, innovation conceptualization, development, and evaluation, claims testing, segmentation, omni-channel consumer journey’s, path to purchase, brand health tracking, etc.

      • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

      In California, Colorado, and New York City, the standard base pay range for this role is $151,744 - $273,456 annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, and New York City and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
