- Key thought/sparring partner to Global Technical Services leadership team in the formation of unit strategy, key objectives, and evaluative metrics.
- Design, deploy, and execute management infrastructure routines for the organization.
- Leadership role in internal communications and organizational engagement.
- Working collaboratively with GPS S&O Leads and Strategy PMO to ensure cooperation and compliance with broader GPS requirements
- Lead and/or represent the team at cross functional stakeholder interactions and initiatives.
- Development of senior management presentations and core communications
- Liaise with GPS related teams
- Coordinate and facilitate departmental staff meetings, leadership meetings and employee engagement communications.
- Support the budgeting process
- Valued advisor to SVP and LT
- Leader in most business-critical discussions (LT mtgs, performance reviews, finance projections, etc.) and employee engagement w/ employes (townhalls, etc.)
- Primary advisor of GTS communications and presentations
- Ensure appropriate governance continuously improve it
- Set the objectives, strategic imperatives, and key initiatives involving and influencing the right stakeholders across the organization
- Quarterly Business Reviews: set agenda topics and drive action items with the stakeholders
- Monthly Finance Reviews and financial projections: coordinate with and advise the Finance and measurement teams.
- Ensure consistency in process, timelines and connection amongst enterprise
- Leadership skills – Proven ability to build, lead, and motivate high performing multi-level teams. Achieves organizational focus on key priorities, provides clear direction, delegates & actively communicates. Seeks broad input from their partners regarding key decisions. Values diverse and opposing views. Strong organizational, business acumen and administrative skills. Possesses a sense of urgency.

- Flexible & Entrepreneurial skills - In order to foster an innovative & curious organization combined with a sense of urgency, the ideal candidate must be able to navigate in a complex internal structure/environment, solve complex problems and commit to the targets and deliver despite unforeseen events.
- Strong leader who is able to inspire a team, set a high bar, and get results. Not fearful of demanding the best while rewarding great achievements, encouraging risk-taking, and developing/building the team with the capabilities to deliver against high standards today and in the future.
- A BA/BS degree or alternatively a Master of Business administration / higher business degree is desired.
- Consulting firm or other professional services experience is a plus
- Financial acumen
- Excellent Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience in driving transformation.
- Resilience, intellectual agility, and comfort in fast-paced and complex situations. Proven ability to work in matrix organizations: ability to influence indirectly and have enterprise mindset.

Senior Director, Strategy and Operations
Bristol Myers Squibb is looking for a Senior Director of Strategy & Operations for the newly created Global Tech Services organisation. This role will act as a key business partner supporting the function by driving strategy, enhancing strategic decision-making, and optimizing performance.
This role reports into the SVP, Head of Global Technical Services and is a member of the GTS Leadership Team facilitating all strategic interactions across the team.
