What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead drafting, interpreting, and evaluating Medicare Part A, Part B, and Part D program policies
- Review and assess healthcare policy updates and interpret Federal statutes and regulations
- Collaborate with researchers and programmers to assist with coding policy changes
- Review CMS transmittals, technical direction letters, and other materials related to healthcare policies and regulations
- Mentor, coach, and supervise junior and mid-level staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Public Health/Health Policy or a similar field
- 7+ years of experience researching, interpreting, and developing Medicare Part A, Part B, and Part D program policies
- Regulatory and policy expertise in Medicare and Medicaid
- Knowledge of the Federal rulemaking process and expertise in Federal healthcare statutes and regulations
- Proven track record in leading and managing research projects
