      Role Overview

      The Senior HRBP for Human Resources, Continental Europe plays a strategic and decision-making role, ensuring that the HR strategy is aligned with TP ICAP Group’s business priorities and local regulatory requirements.

      They define, lead, and implement HR policies across the region, in collaboration with the EMEA CHRO, the CEO and COO of Continental Europe, as well as the Centres of Excellence (COEs) and the Group HR teams.

      As a key driver of HR transformation and social governance, they play a crucial role in modernising HR practices, developing leadership capabilities, managing strategic talent, and overseeing social dialogue at a regional level.

      Role Responsibilities

      HR Strategy and Governance

      • Develop and lead the regional HR strategy in alignment with the Group’s global objectives.

      • Ensure HR practices comply with local and European regulations.

      • Define innovative HR policies in talent development, compensation, and organizational structure.

      • Collaborate with COEs to adapt global HR policies to the European market.

      • Contribute to the work of the region’s governance bodies, including the TPIE Board, the Risk and Compliance Committee (RCC), the Operating Committee (OpCo) and the Executive Committee (ExCo), acting as the HR representative for Continental Europe.

      2. Employee Relations and Regulatory Compliance

      • Oversee the management of employee relations in the countries under their scope, in partnership with the EMEA Employee Relations team.

      • Lead collective agreement negotiations and ensure a constructive social dialogue with employee representatives.

      • Ensure compliance with legal obligations and support local HR teams in managing relationships with labour institutions.

      3. Leadership, Key Talent Development and Employee Engagement

      • Act as a strategic HR advisor to the CEO and COO of Continental Europe on leadership, talent development and managerial culture.

      • Define and lead leadership development programmes and HR initiatives targeting key talent and senior profiles, in close collaboration with HRBPs and COEs.

      • Oversee annual HR campaigns (Talent & Succession Planning, Performance Review, Development Planning) to enhance engagement, recognition and professional growth.

      • Actively contribute to fostering an inclusive, high-performance and employee-driven culture across the region.

      4. Compensation and Benefits

      • Define and oversee compensation & benefits policies based on market benchmarks, in partnership with the Reward team.

      • Drive pay equity and ensure transparency in remuneration practices.

      • Work with COEs to optimise compensation packages across Continental Europe.

      5. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

      • Develop and implement a regional DEI strategy in partnership with the Head of DEI and aligned with TP ICAP’s global objectives.

      • Ensure the integration of DEI principles into all HR policies (recruitment, career management, compensation, training, etc.).

      • Collaborate with COEs, Group HR teams, and managers to embed DEI initiatives into the organization.

      6. HR Transformation and Digitalisation

      • Contribute to the digital transformation of HR processes to improve efficiency and employee experience.

      • Leverage HR data and KPIs to drive HR performance and adjust strategic priorities.

      • Actively participate in organisational transformation projects in alignment with the Group’s strategy.

      Experience / Competences

      Essential

      • Experience of performing a business partnering / advisory capacity role, working with senior stakeholders

      • Exceptionally strong communicator, able to adapt style to suit audience and extract key messages to deliver high-impact communications both verbally and in writing

      • Strong critical thinking skills to resolve and address business issues, HR needs, employee engagement and processes

      • Previous experience managing end to end employee related cases

      • Knowledge of French employment law in relation to works council and regulatory, audit requirements

      • Experience working in a high pressure, busy and fast-changing environment

      • Comfortable executing within tight deadlines

      • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills

      • Comfortable influencing and collaborating with senior stakeholders – comfortable to challenge decisions and thoughts of senior stakeholders whilst maintaining positive working relationships

      • Able to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust and respect

      • Enjoys collaboration and operating as a team player and works well with HR COEs to successfully deliver on HR initiatives

      • Fluency in French and English

      Desired

      • Previous experience leading HR activities on large-scale organisational change and/or mergers/acquisitions

      • Experience in a matrixed, Financial Services organisation

      • Management experience
