      Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

      • To drive profitable and sustainable market share growth for both adidas and JD Group within the assigned categories.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Operate credibly as the Senior Key Account Manager for your designated category, be the category expert with leading industry & product knowledge. Have a clear understanding of the JD consumer and how we WIN with them.
      • Build & drive against Category Plans supporting overall SBP, working collaboratively with internal & external counterparts & colleagues. Driving change & new initiatives forward with the key stakeholders.
      • Development and evolvement of the ‘Ideal range planning’ process to support seasonal input into the Global inline range and to support JD with the planning & framework for future SMU & inline ranges
      • Conducting best in class quarterly sell-ins ensuring achievement of sales, share & margin targets
      • Be the interface between CTC, BAM, North WHS & the customer. Ensure regularity and clarity of communication with all touchpoints and highlight any areas which require support or actions.
      • Regular weekly, monthly and quarterly sell-out analysis across Europe stores & online to understand trends and identify any opportunities or challenges. Ensure that the information is shared with the key internal & external stakeholders where relevant. Put clear actions in place where needed.
      • To monitor and report on customers and competitors’ activities and propose/initiate/take actions
      • Co-ordinate customer and account teams at key milestones throughout the inline & SMU GTM process and ensure process evolves to best service the customer and grow the brand
      • Regular weekly and monthly internal forecasting, adhering to agreed minimum standard levels
      • Effective order-book management: conversion in line with TI whilst adhering to margin targets. Driven by regular intake planning with JD B&M team
      • Work with Marketing counterparts to drive the plan for your focus category/categories in line with Category Plans and seasonal range plans. Ensure a bespoke approach to sell against whilst ensuring flexibility and agile approach in season.
      • Close working relationship with CTC to support a smooth end to end SMU & inline process.
      • Working closely with DTC counterpart to drive online sales and growth in-line with Category Plan/ SBP ambitions. Regular online store checks to feedback & input to the business/ JD to support growth.

      Key Relationships:

      • North Sales & CTC WHS, SKAM counterparts in Europe/ North
      • JD BAM/ CTC/ CS/ Demand Planning, MO&O, Finance, Credit
      • Developing strong relationships with account B&M teams

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

      • SKAM/ Key Account Manager with proven record of success
      • High degree of commercial & business acumen
      • Strong product knowledge to support SMU creation
      • Strong interpersonal skills (communication / negotiation)
      • Proven methodological & analytical skills (business planning, strategic development)
      • Broad and deep functional skills (sales, logistics, Finance, IT)
      • Knowledge of the adidas group business along with external industry experience
      • Mental flexibility, initiative and determination
      • Highly organized and effective in prioritizing

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

      • Functional: >2 years’ sales experience, ideally combined with experience of different functions
      • Industry: Apparel/fashion/footwear- product background preferred
      • Exposure: Sports or fashion industry preferred
      • Skills/ Knowledge: Advanced negotiation strategies and very good product knowledge
