      Who are we?

Thanx is a leading loyalty and guest engagement platform for restaurants. Thanx helps regional and national restaurant brands grow customer lifetime value with easy-to-use lifecycle marketing automations and innovative customer loyalty tools focused on access, status, and personalization over rote discounts. Thanx’s proprietary credit card tokenization technology dramatically increases the volume and accuracy of purchase data which sits at the core of our CRM suite of tools and our app and web-based ordering experiences deliver industry-leading conversion and repeat purchasing. We were named to Nation’s Restaurant News “2020 Power List” as one of the 50 most influential innovators in food-service.

Thanx has gained the investment of prominent venture and growth equity luminaries, having raised more than $30M from elite investors such as M33 Growth, Ribbit Capital, and Sequoia Capital. Core to our success is a culture that has attracted some of the best talent from across the country; we are proud of incredibly strong employee tenure, track record of internal promotions, and impressive alumni network. We credit our cultural “core behaviors” with these accomplishments: Think Boldly, Execute Reliably, Focus on What Matters, Say “Thanx” Genuinely, Encourage Diverse Perspectives, and Lead, Virtually.

      Your Next Role

The restaurant technology space is undergoing rapid transformation, creating a unique opportunity for Thanx to expand our footprint with leading brands. Following successful IPOs from companies like DoorDash, Toast, and Olo, the market is more dynamic than ever—and Thanx is well-positioned for accelerated growth.

This is not a traditional B2B marketing role. Restaurant buyers don't evaluate software the way typical B2B audiences do, and success will require figuring things out as you go. You'll need to experiment with new approaches, solve problems without a playbook, and be comfortable toggling between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

You'll be a key contributor to a high-performing marketing team, working closely with the VP of Marketing and collaborating cross-functionally with sales to drive pipeline and revenue growth. This is a rare opportunity to shape marketing at a high-growth startup—combining strategic impact with direct visibility into results in a trillion-dollar industry.

We are hiring for 100% remote roles; this job can be based anywhere in the US or Canada.

      What You'll Do

      Drive Pipeline

      • Own marketing activities that generate qualified sales opportunities
      • Partner with sales to design and execute campaigns that drive pipeline
      • Create content that supports both inbound lead capture and outbound sales efforts
      • Track performance and optimize based on what's working

      Create Compelling Content

      • Write case studies, comparison pages, email sequences, and sales enablement materials
      • Produce social content that resonates with restaurant industry buyers
      • Adapt messaging for different audiences and stages of the buyer journey

      Execute Campaigns & Events

      • Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns across content, email, ads, and outbound
      • Support field events, executive dinners, and industry conference activations
      • Manage pre-event outreach and post-event follow-up to maximize ROI

      Build & Improve Processes

      • Manage and optimize our marketing and sales technology stack (Salesforce, MixMax, AutoPilot, Gong, etc.)
      • Bring structure and repeatability to marketing operations
      • Implement automation to scale what's working

      What You Bring

      The Right Mindset

      • You figure things out. You're resourceful and don't wait for perfect information or permission. When you hit a wall, you find another way.
      • You get things done. You execute with urgency, follow through on commitments, and deliver results—not just activity.
      • You're a strong writer. You can create clear, compelling content across formats. Writing is a core part of this job.
      • You're organized and systematic. You bring structure to your work, manage multiple priorities without dropping balls, and build processes that scale.

      Experience

      • 3+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience with demonstrated pipeline impact
      • Track record of working collaboratively with sales teams
      • Hands-on experience with marketing/sales technology platforms
      • Experience planning and executing events (field events, conferences, dinners)

      Nice to Have

      • Experience in restaurant tech, hospitality, or adjacent industries
      • Familiarity with ABM, content marketing, or demand generation tactics
      • Experience with AI tools for marketing automation and content creation

      Why You'll Love This Role

      • Direct Impact: Your work directly drives pipeline and revenue—you'll see results, not just metrics
      • Autonomy: Freedom to figure out what works and run with it
      • Growth: Shape marketing processes at a fast-growing company; grow your skills and career
      • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, partnerships, and leadership—not in a marketing silo
      • Remote-Friendly: Work from anywhere in the US or Canada

      Location: Remote
      Employment Type: Full-time
      Level: Manager/Senior Manager
      Compensation Range: $105,000 - $160,000

      Leveling & Location:

Thanx uses structured internal levelling and location-based compensation. Final levelling and compensation are determined through the interview process based on experience, scope, and work location, and any offer will align to the appropriate range.

      Application Process:

      • This position is an existing vacancy.
      • We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist in screening or assessing applications; human review will always remain part of the process.

      Ready to Make an Impact?

If you're a resourceful marketer who writes well, stays organized, and wants to drive measurable growth while working closely with sales, we want to hear from you.
