- Develop standards and guidelines for identity management with the IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team that system and application owners must adhere to.
- Develop, implement and automate role-based access controls in collaboration with other Vancity leaders.
- Oversee identity lifecycle management, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, and role management across all systems
- Coordinate user access audits with the IT GRC and Enterprise Risk Management teams to validate appropriate access is in place.
- Develop and mentor a team of identity analysts and specialists that manage Identity Access Management and Identity Governance and Administration platforms.
- Support in building out and executing the long-term roadmap for the Info Security group.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, business or similar
- 10+ years in a leadership position working with executives, building Information Security Management System (ISMS) programs
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML, OAuth, MFA, and PAM.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

About the workplace
This is a permanent, full-time role that will enjoy hybrid working arrangements which can be fulfilled primarily from the Vancity head office location and your Lower Mainland based home office. Periodically, you’ll be required to attend in-person activities or events.
As the Senior Manager, Identity Management, you will lead a team of identity analysts and specialists who work closely with leadership across Vancity to implement role-based access (RBAC) based on principles of least privilege. You will develop and execute on a roadmap to incorporate all applications and systems under a common governance platform. You will also be responsible for PKI governance and oversight, providing leadership on how best to manage certificates and develop frameworks that other teams will follow to ensure all certificates are issued and rotated accordingly.

The salary range for the role is $102,200 to $153,200 and a candidate’s offer is likely to be up to the mid-point of the role ($127,700) . The upper half of the salary range is typically reserved for individuals who have demonstrated consistent strong performance in the role and possess a high level of job knowledge and skill.
