What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the development of standalone storage and solar-plus-storage projects, including site due diligence and permitting
- Coordinate with external consultants for site evaluations and manage project timelines
- Engage with local stakeholders and present to planning/zoning boards and state agencies
- Provide regular updates and status reports to senior team members, ensuring transparency
- Assist in managing consultants and vendor contracts, including invoice tracking and payments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, geosciences, or a related field with a strong academic record
- Minimum five years of related experience in commercial land development, engineering, or project management
- Advanced knowledge of land use planning, zoning, and permitting processes
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively
- Ability to coordinate with senior leadership and project management staff for updates and decision-making
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Earth, and Procore
- Project Management Professional certification
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Experience with Smartsheet and adept problem-solving skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
