What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Direct supervision of union and non-union personnel performing BWR Refuel Floor outage maintenance work
- Lead project delivery planning, risk identification, and contingency planning
- Foster strong relationships with senior customer and supplier management on technical and compliance issues
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on reactor maintenance and in-vessel tooling
- Ensure high-quality deliverables in accordance with customer requirements and regulatory guidelines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline and a minimum of 5 years of experience in BWR Refuel Floor Outage Maintenance activities, or a High School Diploma with a minimum of 8 years of experience
- Previous experience as a Refuel Floor Technical Director or equivalent
- Willingness to travel greater than 70% of the time to customer sites
- Ability to work in radiation-controlled areas and radioactively contaminated areas
- Ability to manage effectively through high-stress conditions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous work experience as a Refuel Floor Lead Technical Director or Project Manager
- Broader nuclear experience including plant operations or maintenance activities
- Experience with Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) outage maintenance activities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of nuclear power plant refueling, maintenance, and inspection processes
