      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide technical assistance and training to community groups and local government officials regarding water and wastewater management
      - Conduct on-site visits and needs assessments to support community development projects
      - Maintain communication with funding sources and assist in developing funding strategies
      - Research and analyze rural development issues and participate in policy-setting groups
      - Act as a trainer and mentor for new staff within the organization

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in environmental resources, planning, finance/accounting, business management, or equivalent experience
      - Experience in community development or water/wastewater management, including NEPA environmental reviews or grant writing
      - Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, internet, and database software
      - Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
      - Ability to pass state and federal criminal checks and initial drug testing

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in municipal finance, utility operations and management, or geographic information systems
      - Background in facilitating and negotiating community training sessions
