What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT products and services, including applications and cloud services
- Conduct market analysis to identify and evaluate potential suppliers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key IT vendors and monitor their performance
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic negotiations and data analysis
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations during sourcing activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in IT sourcing, procurement, or vendor management
- Strong knowledge of medical device regulations, including FDA and ISO standards
- Familiarity with IT categories such as SaaS, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity
- Proficiency in sourcing tools and ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with global sourcing and managing offshore vendors
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST or ISO/IEC 27001
- Familiarity with IT governance frameworks like ITIL or ISO
- Understanding of GxP-compliant systems and validation processes
- Certification in procurement or IT sourcing, such as CPSM or CIPS
