What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Source, qualify, and manage relationships with U.S.-based Manufacturing Partners
- Lead the onboarding and evaluation process for new Manufacturing Partners
- Negotiate Manufacturing Service Agreements (MSAs) to align with strategic goals
- Drive supplier development initiatives to enhance quality and operational performance
- Conduct regular on-site visits to manufacturing partners to strengthen relationships and assess capabilities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, or manufacturing engineering
- Proven track record in supplier sourcing, negotiation, and relationship management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret cost models and performance data
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for complex negotiations
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Hands-on experience with CNC machining, 3D printing, molding, or fabrication suppliers
- Familiarity with vendor management systems and sourcing platforms
- Master's degree in a related field
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent project management skills
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
