What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Evaluate the effectiveness of an AI-powered search engine by assessing content alignment with user queries
- Assign relevance scores to query-artifact pairs based on predefined criteria
- Analyze user intent by interpreting query language and system context
- Review the quality of AI-generated responses for factual correctness and clarity
- Conduct independent research on unfamiliar terminology and concepts to support evaluations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong English reading comprehension and written communication skills
- Ability to reason through ambiguous or underspecified queries
- Disciplined attention to detail and adherence to evaluation guidelines
- Familiarity with modern search behavior, including keyword and conversational querying
- Comfort using web-based tools and internal evaluation platforms
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in relevance labeling, search quality evaluation, or content review
- Exposure to AI-driven search or information retrieval systems
- Ability to write basic Python scripts for task automation or data handling
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch concepts or query languages
- Experience evaluating technical, business, or operational content across varied domains
