- Manage and maintain the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and maintain relationships between Configuration Items (CIs) across enterprise environments.
- Support CMDB data ingestion, normalization, reconciliation, and integration activities.
- Apply and enforce Common Service Data Model (CSDM) standards and best practices.
- Build and maintain relationships among Business Applications, Service Instances, Technology Management Services/Offerings, Business Capabilities, and related CIs.
- Ensure enterprise IT data is structured and maintained in alignment with CSDM guidelines.
- Monitor CMDB health using dashboards and data quality metrics.
- Identify and resolve stale, orphaned, duplicate, or inaccurate CI records.
- Support Configuration Item lifecycle management, including creation, updates, change tracking, and retirement.
- Collaborate with CI owners, enterprise architects, governance teams, and auditors to ensure compliance with data governance standards.
- Recommend and implement continuous improvements to CMDB governance, data quality, and operational processes.
- 5-10 years of experience in ServiceNow administration, CMDB management, or IT Configuration Management.
- Strong expertise with ServiceNow CMDB tables, Configuration Items (CIs), and CI relationship mapping.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Experience supporting data ingestion, integration, normalization, and reconciliation within ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of Business Applications, Service Instances, Technology Management Services, Business Capabilities, and related CSDM components.
- Experience implementing CMDB governance, data quality, and lifecycle management processes.
- Knowledge of IT Change Management and Configuration Management best practices.
- Experience creating CMDB health dashboards and monitoring data quality metrics.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Experience leading or supporting CMDB governance and compliance initiatives.
- Experience working with CI owners, auditors, and governance stakeholders.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, or other CMDB automation tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL Configuration Management best practices.

Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB & CSDM Analyst to support enterprise architecture and IT service management initiatives. This role is ideal for a professional with strong expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, Common Service Data Model (CSDM), Configuration Items (CIs), data governance, and IT asset relationships.
You will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and governance of enterprise configuration data by maintaining CMDB health, implementing CSDM best practices, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve data quality and compliance. The ideal candidate combines technical ServiceNow expertise with a strong understanding of IT operations, governance, and data management.
