What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Recruit for passive talent using a proactive approach to build a candidate pool
- Conduct initial phone screenings and provide career counseling to candidates
- Utilize technology and tools to track performance and enhance sourcing capabilities
- Manage external job boards and lead military/veteran recruitment initiatives
- Recommend recruitment strategies and stay updated on industry trends
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or related field from a four-year college or university or equivalent military training/experience
- 1-3 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or talent management; military recruiting or leadership experience may be considered
- Ability to meet mission goals in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and creativity in identifying passive talent
- General understanding of HR concepts and recruiting principles
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3-5 years of civilian sourcing/recruiting experience
- Passion for talent acquisition with a proactive 'hunter' mentality
- Interest in crafting compelling position descriptions and leveraging technology
