- Prepare strategies for various commodities and ensures Supplier relations are solid
- Negotiate supply agreements and counters price increase demands
- Create opportunities for CIP savings and delivers year over year cost savings
- Act as negotiator when supply deliveries default
- Understand the cost structures of the Supplier base
- Ensure the New Product Introduction (NPI) projects are fully support with Procurement roles
- Lead product development activities with key suppliers and identify/develop strategic OEM supplier relationships
- Review bid proposals and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority
- Manage cost reduction programs consistent with McQuay’s business plan
- Confer with Suppliers to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule
- Select products for purchase by testing, observing, or examining items and estimate values according to knowledge of market price
- Prepare purchase orders or bid requests
- Maintain procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories
- Discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, suppliers, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action
- Approve invoices for payment and expedites delivery of goods to users

- 12+ years of overall Supply Chain experience
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or Finance
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- CPM or CIPM
- Experience with Regional / National and Global suppliers
