What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the execution of in-person, hybrid, or virtual events from conception to completion
- Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, vendor management, and client communications
- Execute day-of run-of-shows and staffing plans for events
- Coordinate post-event reconciliation and reporting
- Collaborate with event, technology, and registration leads for successful event execution
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of related client-side experience in event planning and logistics
- Experience with hotel RFPs, contracts, and AV production
- Strong customer service skills and ability to identify and mitigate risks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with event registration software and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Familiarity with agile methodology for project delivery
- Passion for equity and improving people's lives through education
