What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and develop concept-based, competency-driven assessments aligned with program outcomes
- Create diverse assessment types, including traditional and technology-enhanced formats
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and pilot new assessments for quality assurance
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and assessment security protocols
- Provide training and resources to faculty on assessment design and evaluation practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's degree in a relevant field such as Educational Assessment or Curriculum & Instruction
- Minimum of three years of experience in assessment design and development, preferably in higher education or nursing
- Expertise in designing assessments using backward design and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent assessment projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with accreditation standards and experience in data-driven decision-making
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with prototype development and validation of new assessment types
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly Canvas
- Familiarity with psychometric analysis and assessment-related standards from accrediting bodies
