We are seeking a Senior Account Manager for our Industry sub segment of our Water Solutions group in North America. Water Solutions - Industry provides a unique combination of application knowhow and offers Kemira’s full product portfolio including Coagulants, Polymers, Process Chemicals and the like to deliver the best solution for a customer’s problem in any water intensive industry. The successful candidate will generate year over year revenue and gross margin growth through customer intimacy and aligning their actions with the business group’s strategy. The position would ideally be situated in the US/remote. The role will report to the Director, Commercial - INDUSTRY NA.
In this role you will be responsible for:
• Demonstrates ability to continuously grow sales and gross margin year over year.
• Conducts high level sales calls and develops/maintains key contact relationships with customers across their respective functions.
• Establishes sales and budget targets and manages them in the territory
• Conducts customer site / field visits to increase Kemira’s brand exposure and build key local level contacts
• Supply technical knowhow and support for strategic customer & segment projects.
• Support segment strategy development
• Develops and manages account plans and strategy
• Effectively utilizes internal resources available to maximize customer satisfaction
• Work effectively with functions like PLM, Legal, Logistics to deliver the territories planWhat you’ll bring to the team:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant field
• 3-5 years’ experience in Industry selling and customer interface
• Solid and comprehensive technical knowledge of our key products and applications combined with strong commercial execution and drive
• Self -motivated individual capable to work with minimum supervision
• Must be flexible and capable of handling multiple responsibilities and projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of the Kemra product lines such as Coagulants, Polymers, and Process Chemcials
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel (up to 30-50% of time)
• Understanding of chemical applications for various industrial water treatment needs (preferred)Ready to create better every day? Join Kemira!
