      Description

      Jay Group is looking for a Sr Account Manager to support day-to-day fulfillment activity across our diverse portfolio of strategic clients. Candidates should possess strong customer service skills and have experience analyzing and interpreting key metrics, identifying opportunities for additional products and services, creating presentations that highlight Jay Group performance to customer-driven SLAS, as well as providing industry-leading expertise in the Ecommerce industry.

      Sr Account Manager Responsibilities but not limited to:

      1. Builds strong relationships internally and externally to create an exceptional customer experience.
      2. Responsible for client driven projects and initiatives and ensuring they are completed promptly and to the customers’ expectations.
      3. Review client performance, and work cross-functionally to implement process changes and procedures that mutually benefit the client and the Jay Group
      4. Develops job procedures to standardize client-specific processes and effectively communicates timelines internally and externally to ensure alignment.
      5. Perform general account administration, i.e. report generation, order processing, KPIs (Quality, Delivery Performance, Transportation & Client Cost), in weekly or monthly Business Review meetings with the clients.
      6. Collaborate with the internal Jay Group team (Sales, Client Services, Manager, Operations & IT) to identify new opportunities within a client’s business that help drive revenue and overall profitability.
      7. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure forecast accuracy and offer data-driven solutions to understand trends across assigned accounts.
      8. Review and report on transportation programs (large carriers and regional carriers) to ensure they are aligned with client’s expectations.

      Qualifications


      Qualifications:

      1. Previous college or business school degree with 2-4 years of account management and/or logistics experience required.
      2. Must have professional oral and written communication skills.
      3. Excellent problem-solving skills.
      4. Ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines.
      5. Have business intelligence skills.
      6. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint are required.
      7. Previous experience working in an AS400 environment is preferred.
      8. Experience in an e-commerce/fulfillment account management position is strongly preferred.
