What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor geopolitical trends and their implications for trade policies
- Screen transactions against Sanction Party Lists to mitigate risks
- Oversee daily trade compliance operations across the US, Canada, and EU
- Collaborate with logistics, finance, customer service, and sales to optimize compliance processes
- Provide training and ongoing support to team members while keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, international trade, or economics; equivalent experience is acceptable
- Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience with at least 2 years in logistics or compliance
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving capabilities
- Skilled in ERP systems, especially SAP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2 years of global experience in trade compliance or related fields
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite and advanced Excel
- Independent decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced environment
