      Position Overview

      As the HR Business Partner for Dutch Bros Corporate Offices, you will serve as a strategic partner and provide guidance and advice to leaders across the organization to support organizational objectives and business strategies. The HRBP acts as a leadership coach, strategic partner, and change agent. The HRBP will partner with management, HR CoEs, and Operations to improve working relationships, build engagement, and increase productivity and retention. The role includes providing input into a broad range of HR policy work, people planning and team development and will manage complex and varied enterprise-level HR projects and initiatives.

      Key Result Areas (KRAs)

      Provide strategic support and hands-on partnership to corporate office leadership to align People objectives with business strategies:

      • Works closely with leaders and employees at the corporate office to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

      • Provide day-to-day performance/talent management guidance to leadership (e.g. coaching, disciplinary action, employee relations investigations, career development). Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations

      • Make a positive impact on how corporate office employees experience organizational change. Take an active role as a change agent. Solicit and listen to partners’ concerns and challenges and help to bridge gaps in understanding

      • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute Human Resources programs.

      • Ensures Dutch Bros corporate employees are in compliance with various governmental laws and regulations around EEOC, Wage Hour, worker’s comp., disability, FMLA, etc.

      Partner with internal stakeholders to support the development and execution of strategic plans across multiple areas and levels:

      • Act as the conduit between the HR Centers of Excellence (HR COEs) and corporate office leadership by educating, training, and communicating updates to company programs, cultural initiatives, and policies and procedures.

      • Activate healthy feedback loops to ensure that HR COEs receive timely input on the impact and effectiveness of new and modified programming and policies.

      • Establish and maintain routine connections with COE leaders and act in a consultant capacity on functional projects targeting services and program improvements for corporate employees.

      • Coach and mentor the office management team that spans three Field Support facilities, one each in Oregon, Texas, and Arizona.

      • Support the planning and implementation of work-life programs, culture-building events, and other team-building activities.

      • Establish a presence in each facility that exudes the Dutch Bros culture by ensuring the team provides “red carpet service” to our guests and maintains the fun-loving, mind-blowing energy DB shops are known for…with an office twist.

      Analyze trends and metrics to drive continuous improvement, and develop solutions, programs, and policies:

      • Lead HR process improvement initiatives, special projects, and/or training(s) from start to finish, and recommend and support policy writing and implementation

      • Analyze data, identify trends and propose actions to address opportunities in team and culture, enhance employee experience and/or improve core HR processes and develop solutions and programs to address needs

      • Manage and report on HR KPI’s and core data and provide insight, leadership and support for short-term and long-term workforce planning using data-driven analysis for exempt and non-exempt staff.

      • Create reporting, business reviews, and people metric analysis as required

      • Manage general budgetary responsibilities and perform other HR duties, as assigned and needed

      Job Qualifications

      Required:

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or other applicable field or 4 additional years of related experience

      • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Manager or similar role, required, one year of which must be leading a team that supports a business of 500+ non-exempt and exempt employees

      • Comfortable operating in the gray with a willingness to work in an agile and interactive work environment

      • Experience collaborating with leaders at all levels

      • Strong communication skills with the ability to positively influence and build compelling presentations

      • Analytical and data management skills with experience translating data into action planning

      • Solution-based mindset with a desire to uncover HR business gaps and solve problems

      • This position requires driving, when necessary, and must have a valid driver's license

      Preferred

      • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred

      • Demonstrated project management and change management experience and ability to drive programs independently

      • High level of comfort working autonomously and recommending strategic changes

      • Knowledge and experience in the QSR business preferred

      Location Requirement:

      • This position is located in Phoenix, AZ and is required to be in office 4 days per week

      • May be required to travel up to 15% of the time between three Field Support/HQ locations
