Be seen as a thought-leader in Public Sector/Aerospace and Defense offering expert insight to clients and colleagues to drive business growth.
Analyze the needs of current and future customers to understand where and how DXC can help them achieve their business goals, especially through proactive proposals.
Lead the development of new business opportunities by collaborating with clients, account teams, and sellers.
Advise and support our customers in business processes transformation.
Develop solutions to customer challenges using DXC’s Consulting and Engineering expertise and proven success with similar clients.
Build and use repeatable industry propositions: working with our global Offerings to develop industry specific content, proposals and collateral, incorporating technology innovation such as AI.
Develop and execute go-to-market plans and account plans in conjunction with Account teams, Marketing and Offerings, so that we are able to bring the most relevant industry capabilities, case studies and propositions to clients.
Steering the choice of technologies, managing relations with technology and business partners.
Advise on how and where emerging technologies, such as AI and Quantum, can be applied to achieve customer goals.
Acts as part of a global community of industry advisors bringing the best of DXC to clients and sharing best practices.
Provide Aerospace & Defense thought leadership and maintain DXC’s industry viewpoint.
Create external content (e.g., white papers) and represent DXC at industry events and analyst briefings.
10 + years of experience in business development and advisory within Public Sector/ Aerospace and Defense domains.
Strong industry knowledge and technical expertise, solid consultative approach and experience analyzing market data for potential opportunities and adapt strategies as needed.
Proven track record in the technical domains covered by working with DXC’s CES Offerings: Consulting, Custom Applications, Data and AI, SAP and other Enterprise Applications.
Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken).
Trusted Adviser with immaculate interpersonal skills, passionate about building meaningful, long-term relations and capable of understanding customers’ needs & shaping their thinking.
Core management consulting skills, including Executive & Digital Leadership Workshop facilitation, Client interviews/ focus groups.
Ability to design Client business cases and exceptional communication skills, both verbal & written, excellent presentation skills

Currently we are looking for a Senior Manager Business Development and Advisory, a subject matter expert, to join our team for Consulting & Engineering Services (CES) and enhance DXC Public Sector and Aerospace & Defense Industry footprint through providing top-notch advisory services in the field, thus strengthening relationships with both existing and new clients.
