      Summary

      *This is a hybrid role that works out of the Aliso Viejo, CA office*

      The Senior PMO Manager is responsible for driving the successful execution of projects and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role involves leading a team of project managers and providing strategic direction to optimize project delivery.

      The Sr. Manager Global PMO will be responsible for the development and management of Metagenics Global IT Project and Portfolio governance processes, with a clear focus on agile/hybrid methodologies to deliver benefits to our global businesses faster.

      The Sr. Manager Global PMO will lead the intake process for project requests, work with project sponsors, local business stakeholders, enterprise architects and global IT teams to assist with the ideation, business case assessment and present where required to gain approval.

      This position will provide oversight, management reporting, assisting, and leading the coordination to the portfolio, program and project management across the Metagenics regions. This role will also manage key projects and global harmonization initiatives.

      Additionally, the Sr. Manager Global PMO will play an instrumental role in facilitating the Annual Operating Plan process, overseeing project budgets and supporting the capital asset approval process.

      Responsibilities

      Strategic Leadership:

      • Develop and implement the PMO's strategic vision, goals, and objectives.
      • Align project portfolios with the organization's strategic initiatives.
      • Provide leadership and guidance to the PMO team.

      Project Portfolio Management:

      • Define and maintain project management standards and processes.
      • Support the evaluation and implementation of a PPM tool that is “Fit for Purpose”
      • Prioritize and oversee multiple projects to ensure they meet time, budget, and quality objectives.
      • Assess project risks and provide mitigation strategies.
      • Management of global project intake, prioritization and delivery processes to align with business strategies

      Resource Management:

      • Allocate and manage resources effectively to support project delivery.
      • Ensure teams have the necessary tools, skills, and training.

      Stakeholder Communication:

      • Foster effective communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
      • Provide regular project status updates and reports.

      Change Management:

      • Lead change management initiatives related to project implementation.
      • Ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruptions.
      • Facilitates lessons learned and responsible for reuse of project learnings and knowledge by establishing ongoing communication and repositories for future reference

      Budget Management:

      • Oversee project budgets and financials to ensure projects stay within approved budgets.
      • Analyze performance data to make informed decisions and improvements.

      What you'll need:

      • 8+ years project management/PMO experience
      • Experience advancing the maturity of a Global PMO in an IT environment
      • Bachelor's degree in business, management, computer science or related field (Master's degree preferred)
      • Project Management Certified & in good standing
      • 2-3 years agile IT project management
      • Experience in supervisory or management positions

      Compensation:

      The current range for this role based out of Aliso Viejo, CA is $142,000 - $160,000/yr

      The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

      This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
