What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments for crisis contacts
- Assess for suicide risk and identify appropriate community resources for individuals in distress
- Conduct follow-up calls for individuals at moderate to high risk for suicide
- Participate in ongoing supervision, training, and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge
- Assist with administrative tasks as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, or related field, or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist
- Six months to one year of crisis experience preferred
- Availability to work Thursday to Monday, 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of suicide assessments and crisis intervention techniques
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a high-stress environment with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proven ability to demonstrate high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette
- Familiarity with providing service linkage and referrals for programs and community resources
