The purpose of this position is to receive process and post payments; and provide assistance to students and college personnel. This is accomplished by assisting patrons of the cashier’s office; accepting and posting payments to the appropriate accounts; organizing bank deposits; closing out cashier sessions; balancing payments; maintaining spreadsheets of payment activity; downloading and posting various types of payments; and maintaining all paperwork. Other duties include selling event tickets; answering phone calls; and assisting and directing all callers as appropriate.

Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia; non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement.
