Qualifications:
- Customer service experience
- Enrollment at UW-Madison
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong customer service skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently once trained
- Experience with Windows and Mac computer systems
- Software installation and troubleshooting experience
- Printer troubleshooting experience
- Familiarity with cloud-based file sharing tools
Position Summary/Job Duties:
- Triage service requests using our web-based ticketing system
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Perform computer setup and moves, including desktops, laptops, monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, etc.
- Provide Audio Visual support for classes in Grainger Hall
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
Additional Information:
- Remote work is not eligible for this position.
- Anticipated hours per week: 10+ hours
- Work schedule is determined based on student availability, between the hours of 7:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
- Salary/Wage Range/Lump Sum: $15.00 an hour
- Number of Positions: 1-2
