The Area Lead, Talent Acquisition is a high-impact recruiting leader responsible for driving hiring strategy, team execution, and recruiting results across an assigned area. This role operates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where success depends on strong judgment, urgency, operational discipline, and the ability to quickly align recruiting effort to business need. The Area Lead is accountable for determining where team focus should be directed to generate the greatest impact on interviews, offers, and hires, while ensuring recruiting activity remains aligned to business priorities, pipeline health, and site-level hiring demand.

This role requires a strategic, analytical, and forward-thinking leader who can direct team performance, quickly identify risk, and step in hands-on when needed. The Area Lead partners closely with field leadership, TA leadership, and operations partners to remove barriers, drive accountability, and maintain momentum across the area. This leader is expected to embrace technology, strengthen process discipline, and lead with a practical, do-what-it-takes mindset to deliver results in critical hiring moments.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Lead recruiting strategy, activity, and performance across an assigned area, ensuring team effort is aligned to business priorities, hiring demand, and site-level need.
      • Set clear direction for where recruiters should focus based on what will drive the most meaningful near-term movement in interviews, offers, and hires.
      • Review and interpret daily performance data, including offer production, weekly pacing, interview activity, recruiter capacity, lead flow, applicant flow, and no-show patterns, to guide team priorities and decision-making.
      • Continuously assess pipeline health, hiring risk, and activity levels to identify where momentum is building, where it is slowing, and where immediate intervention is needed.
      • Translate performance insights into clear, practical actions that improve candidate movement, increase output, and protect hiring results.
      • Lead a recruiting team in a high-volume, fast-moving environment with strong emphasis on speed, responsiveness, urgency, and execution quality.
      • Establish and reinforce clear expectations around follow-up, activity levels, recruiter pace, and accountability for results.
      • Maintain visibility into team performance and address delays, inconsistency, inactivity, or execution gaps quickly and directly.
      • Foster a culture of ownership, adaptability, urgency, and results-driven execution across the team.
      • Step in directly to support recruiting activity when business need, team capacity, or site-level risk requires hands-on involvement.
      • Personally contribute through screening, scheduling, sourcing, networking, partnership support, and other direct recruiting efforts as needed to protect momentum and results.
      • Drive consistent, effective use of recruiting technology, including applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms, scheduling tools, and automation workflows, to improve speed, visibility, consistency, and candidate movement.
      • Identify and address breakdowns in workflow discipline, execution consistency, process adherence, or technology adoption.
      • Coach and develop team members by providing clear direction on where to focus, why it matters, and how to improve outcomes.
      • Align recruiters to area priorities and hold the team accountable for meaningful execution tied to actual hiring need, not routine activity.
      • Address performance gaps directly and support continuous improvement across the team.
      • Partner closely with field leadership, operations partners, TA leadership, and support teams to remove obstacles, escalate risks early, and accelerate hiring progress across the area.
      • Communicate hiring risk clearly and drive action to protect staffing outcomes and recruiting performance.
      • Perform other related duties as necessary and assigned to support business and operational needs.

      Requirements

      • 1 year of experience leading team performance and hiring execution.
      • Demonstrated ability to drive recruiting strategy, team focus, and hiring outcomes in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and urgent staffing needs.
      • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret performance data, identify risk, and turn insights into action quickly.
      • Experience managing recruiter performance, pipeline health, candidate movement, and hiring execution across multiple priorities or business segments.
      • Strong understanding of funnel health, offer generation, interview activity, and recruiting process effectiveness.
      • Proven ability to lead through urgency, accountability, adaptability, and operational discipline.
      • Experience partnering with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to remove barriers and drive timely decisions and action.
      • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms, scheduling tools, and recruiting technologies, with strong discipline around data accuracy and workflow consistency.
      • Strong communication, prioritization, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
      • Comfortable operating in a performance-driven environment with evolving priorities, high visibility, and accountability for results.
