What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist teachers with instructional duties and classroom management
- Support students in their academic tasks and behavior management
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
- Collaborate with staff to develop and implement behavior plans for at-risk students
- Conduct data analysis and prepare reports regarding student progress and discipline issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma required
- Minimum of 48 semester hours from a regionally accredited college/university or an Associate's Degree
- Must possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with students and staff
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a school setting or with diverse student populations
- Proficiency in data analysis and educational software, including Microsoft Excel and Access
- Bilingual skills for assisting non-English speaking students
- Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS)
- Familiarity with educational assessment processes and record-keeping
