What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise students during synchronous NCVPS sessions to ensure active participation and engagement
- Support students with asynchronous coursework, encouraging time management and task completion
- Assist students with logging into required platforms and provide basic troubleshooting for technical issues
- Maintain a focused and structured environment during synchronous and asynchronous sessions
- Collaborate with NCVPS teachers and school staff to support student success
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree in education or related field
- Minimum two years of experience working with students preferred
- Must meet the "Highly Qualified" requirements under No Child Left Behind
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and instructors
- Ability to monitor digital learning platforms and manage attendance records
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with virtual learning platforms such as Zoom and Canvas
- Knowledge of best practices for student engagement in online learning
- Experience in a collaborative team environment
- Proficiency in troubleshooting basic technical issues
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information
