What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor and analyze wagers in real time, identifying pricing inefficiencies and unprofitable customer wagering trends
- Lead, coach, and supervise a team of Real-Time Analysts, fostering high performance and continuous improvement
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to ensure KPIs and objectives are met
- Collaborate with Trading, Player Optimisation, and Senior Management on risk management strategies
- Handle queries from internal and external contacts, acting as a key point of contact during shifts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Extensive experience working within a sportsbook or sports betting trading team
- Previous experience as a Senior Trader or Trading Analyst
- Strong understanding of pricing methodology, in-play variables, and customer betting behavior
- Previous supervisory, coaching, or mentoring experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with US sports is highly desirable
- Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Amplitude
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
- Intellectually curious, always seeking better ways of working
- Flexibility to work weekends and outside standard hours
