Your responsibilities

As a Team lead Senior Technical Manager Hydrogen - Asset Development you will be leading the Hydrogen Asset Development Team Sweden of up to 5 people with responsibility for the project funnel of Uniper’s hydrogen and PtL (e.g. methanol) major asset projects in Sweden. Full project execution accountability from Conceptualization to Final Investment Decision (FID) to be taken by the Uniper Group Board of Management. Furthermore, your responsibilities includes;

• Internal and external stakeholder management, including supporting the establishment and maintenance of (strategic) partnerships as well as Uniper representation in international associations and at conferences, all in close coordination with our group communications & public relations department.
• Steer projects by managing a budget, leading a project team and by reporting to a senior level to ensure professional and effective asset development.
• Manage and coordinate complex projects to ensure they are completed safely, on time and on budget.
• Collaborate with group-internal functional teams for procuring supplies, such as engineering services and licenses, etc.
• Implement Uniper’s hydrogen asset strategy in Sweden in close collaboration with other AD and BD Team Leads responsible for SWE and for cross-regional strategic partnerships. Actively contribute to develop further Uniper’s hydrogen strategy in order to help shape the climate-friendly asset base of the company.
• Manage tasks in accordance with Project Management standards of the company.
• Facilitate and encourage collaboration across departments to ensure projects are completed successfully.
• Responsible for the identification, development and negotiation of engineering contracts in close cooperation with relevant Uniper divisions.
• Responsible for technical design and project delivery for projects.
• Manage the allocated OPEX and CAPEX project budgets for development and implementation of the hydrogen project pipeline.
• Lead the identification of technical solutions and selection of technology including licensing of processes.
• Lead and decide projects execution strategy for complex hydrogen facilities.
• Support the development team to foster new projects to confirm commercially viable business cases.
• Develop the resource plan for each project and coordinate all required resources with internal AM stakeholders (Engineering, Project Execution, Procurement, Legal, etc.)

Your profile

• University degree in relevant studies, e.g. engineering.
• Significant professional experience as a lead project manager in developing and project managing large scale assets in the energy industry.
• Foster empowerment of team members.
• Experience in functionally leading world class contractors.
• Technical competence not limited to hydrogen projects.
• Professional command of English (another language of a Uniper core country beneficial).
• Conceptual and analytical thinking.
