Job Summary:
As a Team Manager in a John Lewis branch, you will take full responsibility for your department, you'll need to be commercially minded and thrive on generating sales by motivating your team of partners to achieve excellent results.
Contributing to the overall success of the branch is what it's all about.Job Description:
What will you be doing?
You'll manage and mentor your Partners to be the best they can be.
Your passion for selling will enable you to coach and develop your Partners to delight customers, providing a seamless shopping experience.
You'll have strong leadership and communication skills which you'll get to showcase when you are required, on occasion, to take on the responsibility of Duty Manager.
This role is predominately based on our Fashion floors so an interest or experience in fashion is key.
Desirable experience skills and qualifications:
-Retail management or front-line customer service management.
-Stakeholder Management.
-Project Management.
- Experience in a fast paced customer centric leadership role,responsible for large teams and unit performance metrics.
- A proven track record as a specialist in people and driving a culture of empowerment with large teams.
- A proven track record of successful identification and delivery of commercial opportunities and outcomes.
- Fashion experience is key for this role.
