What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead cross-functional activities in the supply chain for overall operational readiness in all New Product Introduction (NPI) phases leading into mass production
- Develop timelines and budgets for projects across NPI and Sustaining, reporting on key project metrics bi-weekly
- Collaborate with suppliers and engineering teams to develop manufacturing processes, including process flow and equipment designs
- Drive project technical and operational issues during the NPI phase to enable delivery of a mature product and manufacturing process into mass production
- Act as the supply chain technical lead in communicating project readiness and identifying risks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in high-volume consumer electronics product ramp, manufacturing engineering, or related fields
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Proficient in methodologies such as DFM, FMEA, SPC, DOE, and Lean Manufacturing
- Experience in resolving complex technical problems in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience delivering New Production Introduction and manufacturing ramp-up for consumer or medical device electronic products
- Familiarity with international contract manufacturing partners specializing in factory operations
- Strong data analysis skills for effective decision-making based on data
