      100% Remote Anywhere in the USA - Start Date June 1 st

      Contract Opportunity - $75-85/hour W2

      Our client is undergoing a large-scale migration from SAP SuccessFactors to Workday and is seeking a highly organized and technical Workday Project Manager to lead the cutover planning and execution process. The organization is currently over-leveraging their training team and needs a dedicated PM resource focused specifically on the cutover and go-live coordination efforts.

      This individual will own the detailed execution planning across all phases of the rollout, helping manage activities week-by-week, day-by-day, and eventually hour-by-hour during the critical go-live window. This person will serve as a key liaison across HR, IT, executive leadership, and advisory groups to ensure all workstreams stay aligned and on schedule.

      Deployment Timeline:
      • First Wave: June 10
      • Second Wave: July 14
      • Soft Go-Live: August 14
      • Public Go-Live: September 9
      • Hypercare Support: A few weeks post go-live depending on technical capability

      Required Experience / Skill Set
      • Strong experience leading Workday cutover and go-live activities
      • Proven background managing enterprise-scale HRIS or Workday implementations
      • Ability to build detailed cutover plans and execution timelines
      • Strong organizational and communication skills
      • Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders including HR, IT, and executive leadership
      • Comfortable operating in executive steering committee and advisory meetings
      • Experience managing dependencies across multiple Workday modules and integrations
      • Ability to track communications, readiness activities, and deployment milestones
      • Strong technical understanding of Workday ecosystem and integrations


      Preferred Experience
      • Previous SuccessFactors to Workday migration experience
      • Hypercare/post go-live support experience
      • Experience supporting large global or enterprise organizations
      • Familiarity with Workday Prism and Advanced Compensation


      Typical Day to Day (Tasks & Responsibilities)
      • Build and manage detailed cutover execution plans
      • Coordinate readiness activities across business and technical teams
      • Track communications and deployment milestones with local HR teams
      • Lead daily cutover coordination meetings
      • Manage escalation paths and risk mitigation activities
      • Facilitate executive and advisory-level status discussions
      • Oversee go-live execution planning down to hourly activities during deployment windows
      • Coordinate with integration teams to ensure deployment readiness
      • Support hypercare planning and stabilization efforts post go-live


      Additional Notes
      • This person will become the dedicated cutover lead resource
      • Strong communication and organizational leadership are critical
      • Technical understanding is important, especially for hypercare support potential
      • High visibility role with executive exposure
