Provides technical support and customer service to the organization's users of computer applications and hardware (e.g., PCs, servers, mainframes).
Answers questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, systems status, and downtime procedures and is typically located within a call center.
Collaborates with network services, software systems engineering and/or application development
Restore service and/or identify problems.
Maintains a troubleshooting tracking log ensuring timely resolution of problems.
Preferred BS Degree or AA/AS degree, at least a HS diploma required
No clearance to start must be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other IT equipment and tools.
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, IT office devices, and must be able to lift and move objects weighing 25 pounds or more

ManTech is seeking a Tier 1 Help Desk Technician. This position provides support to ManTech employees. Individuals will spend 1-2 years gaining experience & certifications while their security clearance is processing, then transition to support the customer’s mission.
This is an on-site position in our Herndon, VA location.
